On November 29-30, 2023, the international seminar “Voices of moderation”, which was organized by the international Catholic movement “Pax Christi International”, was held in Krakow. Among the participants of the seminar were representatives of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine, as well as participants in this movement from several other countries.
Two sessions of this seminar were devoted to the situation in Ukraine, at which representatives of the Greek Catholic and Orthodox churches spoke. Among the topics of discussion were the role of churches and civil society in the situation of the war, the possibility of strengthening social cohesion and steps towards reconciliation between different churches. From the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Sergii Bortnyk and Bohdan Mostovyi took part in the seminar.
