Since the beginning of March 2024, a traveling exhibition dedicated to the theme “People of Peace” has been opened in the German town Coesfeld near Muenster. These are 24 photos of men and women from several countries of Eastern Europe and Germany, who each in their own way strive to promote establishing and strengthening of peace.
The exhibition is organized by the German action Renovabis and the Diocese of Muenster of the Roman Catholic Church in Germany. The main task of the exhibition is to popularize the idea of peace within the framework of a charity event for this year’s Pentecost period. At the same time, it is planned that the exhibition will be opened throughout the year and will be held in different cities of Germany.
Among most of the faces of Catholics from Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Ukraine, Sergii Bortnyk became a representative of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. His photo is accompanied by the expression: “In this war we must strengthen humanity and reduce excessive cruelty”.
