The theme of Ukraine was one of the central ones at the General Assembly of the Conference of European Churches

From June 14 to 20, the General Assembly of the Conference of European Churches (CEC) was held in Tallinn, Estonia. It gathered representatives of the Protestant, Anglican, Old Catholic and Orthodox churches of Europe. During the weekend days, two sessions were devoted to the topic of the war in Ukraine – “Churches as change makers in post-war society” and “Preparing for Peace: The role of churches in transforming violence”.

Three persons spoke on behalf of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church – Volodymyr Bureha, vice-rector of the Kyiv Theological Academy, Yuliya Kominko, head of the Dialog.tut portal, and Bohdan Mostovyi, a graduate of the Kyiv Theological Academy, who with the support of our foundation studies in Heidelberg, Germany.
